WHO/WHAT IS GOD?
WHO IS GOD?
In the beginning was GOD and nothing else. There was no earth, no planets, no man no darkness, no light, nothing, absolutely nothing but GOD. (Gen. 1:1)
If we look around us now we see many different things. We see people, animals, plants and many other living and non-living things. Where did they come from? Who made them? We know the truth. We know in the beginning was GOD and nothing else; so everything we see around us had to come from GOD, had to be made by GOD. (Ps. 146:6, Jn. 1:3, Ps. 33:6, Col. 1:16, Rom. 11:36, Acts 17:24, Neh. 9:6) There was no other place for them to come from, there was no one else around to make them but GOD.

Now we know two truths:
1. In the beginning was GOD.
2. Everything that is was made by GOD.
What materials did GOD use to make creation? We know in the beginning was GOD and nothing else, so we know the only materials GOD had to make creation was HIMSELF. GOD used pieces of HIMSELF to create everything that is. (Col. 1:17, Gen. 1:1-31, Heb. 11:3, Ps. 33:6).
Now we know three truths:
1. In the beginning was GOD.
2. Everything that is was made by GOD.
3. Everything that is, is a piece of GOD.
Now that we know these three truths we can answer the question: Who/What is GOD? The answer: GOD is the total of adding all the pieces of creation. GOD is the total of adding everything that ever was (the Father), everything that is right now (the Son), and everything that ever will be (the Spirit). (Matt. 28:19, Rev. 4:8).
In the beginning was GOD and nothing else. The same is true today. Today there is nothing but GOD. Everything that is, is merely a piece of the ONE. A piece of GOD Almighty. GOD Almighty is All in All. (1 Cor. 15:28, Jn. 14:20). GOD is alive today. (Ps. 42:2)
Now that we know these truths we know we are pieces of GOD. We know we are surrounded always by pieces of GOD and GOD is using these pieces of HIMSELF to shape us, guide us and develop us for whatever it is HE has planned for us in the future.
And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. (Jn. 8:32)
